This page explains what we store on your device and why. We keep analytics first-party and self-hosted — no ad networks, no third-party trackers, and nothing sold.

Strictly necessary

Needed for the site to work, so they do not require consent: your login/session cookie, your saved theme and language, and a cookie that remembers we have already shown you the cookie notice. These are never used to track you.

Analytics (self-hosted)

We run our own Matomo on our own servers to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. It sets first-party cookies, the data never leaves our infrastructure, and it is shared with no one. No ad networks, no third-party trackers, no cross-site profiles.

Why we do not ask you to accept

A consent banner exists to cover cookies that hand your behaviour to somebody else. We set none of those, so there is nothing for you to consent to — we would rather tell you plainly what we store than make you click through a dialog. Questions are welcome at info@obmondo.com.
